Our story began in 1971 when a group of Brighton High School students created a center to meet the specific needs of youth. 

In 2013, The Center for Youth adopted The Crisis Nurseries. With two locations, they provide temporary care for babies and children during family crises. We also provide referrals to parents and caregivers that help them resolve and move beyond difficult situations. The Crisis Nurseries continue to be the only program of its kind in Upstate New York. 

The proceeds of the gala will benefit The Crisis Nurseries. Your support allows our littlest babies and youth to flourish and continue to bloom.
