Each year, the Monroe County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section collaborates with The Center for Youth to host a silent auction to benefit Teen Court. 100% of the proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to the Rochester Teen Court.
The silent auction offers food and drink, fun auction baskets, and a wine pull and/or raffle. This year, we are adding a red carpet and a fashion aspect to this event. Arrive dressed in your best!
What is Teen Court?
Rochester Teen Court is a program for offenders, ages 14-19, to participate voluntarily in this sentencing court after accepting responsibility for their actions in a traditional courtroom.
A sitting City of Rochester Court judge presides over the proceedings, and teen jurors recommend sentencing.
Our Philosophy:
Teen Court’s main objective is to ensure that a teen’s encounter with the criminal justice system is their last.
We provide education on the judicial system, promote accountability, and reinforce responsibility through community service.
