Gospel and Gumbo
“Cinnamon Jones” does “Gospel and Gumbo” – A fabulous event combining music that will touch your soul, fundraising efforts positively impacting lives near and far, and authentic Louisiana Gumbo that will put smiles on faces as wide as the Mississippi Delta.
CINNAMON JONES – “Sugar and spice may be nice, but Cinnamon is good for your Soul”. Cinnamon embodies an unequaled exhibition of love and dedication for the art of music which shows through her innovative blend of genres. Her work reflects inspiration from gospel, Blues, Jazz, Pop, R & B, and Soul … all of which readily inspire those present to move, sway, swing and dance. Cinnamon’s ability to bring together these many influences infusing them all with a Gospel core, stunning vocal prowess, and commanding stage presence, lends to a performance that is both moving and unforgettable … connecting all present to an eternal soul. If you’ve seen Cinnamon before, you know she’ll grab you. Her voice and energy will lure you in. Her playfulness and humor will lay you in stitches. More importantly though, as Cinnamon believes in her eternal soul, “You are not the audience and I’m not the artist; we are one in music.”

FUNDRAISING for “Gospel and Gumbo” in Pensacola FL and “Center for Youth” here in Rochester. While organizing “Gospel and Gumbo” show we learned there was a non-profit called “Pensacola Gospel and Gumbo” in Florida with a captivating “Gospel and Gumbo” LOGO. When we decided to use the LOGO, we knew it was important to contribute to their cause, which pays for prescription drugs and lab work for uninsured folks in the Pensacola area … AND … we felt at the same time it important to raise money for a local organization doing import community service — The Center for Youth.
